I love these stories! There’s something about a clever and auspicious cat burglar that gets my attention. What’s more interesting is how much BBC is turning into CNN (an American propaganda machine). The Canadian media gives the real facts of this awesome heist! Thanks, you hockey loving – maple syrup drinking Canucks!

This is you. When you can’t be somewhere this will take your stead, with you manning the controls. All I can think of are the plethora of pranks that this poor avatar-bot will endure…

When you’re an aircraft maintenance engineer, the glamorous job of being a pilot would probably pop-up in ones mind every-so-often. Rarely, I assume, would any maintenance engineer act on these boyish dreams. To quit everything and go to flight school – and maayyybe be considered for a rink-a-dink pilots job waiting years in line to fly the big boys (A300′s, 747′s…etc).

Well if you’re Thomas Salme, all you need to do to go right from the repair-pit to the 747 cockpit is a little arts and crafts.

If you recall, a few weeks ago I analyzed smart-phone GPS and the ultimate demise of the stand-alone GPS units. Well, as a follow up… here’s what Tom Tom has up their sleeve: Star Wars voice over.

Wow. Really? Did I just fall into a DARPA temporal worm-hole? Is this 2005 all over again?

Some say DARPA stands for: The Defense Advanced Research Project Agency. I say it stands for: Don’t Annoy Raging Paranoid Americans. Acronym aside, DARPA is responsible for the leading edge of military and space-aged technology. Some of the things they’re working on will blow your mind, and these are just the projects that are made public. Enjoy this four part series where I will explain the top 20 public projects of DARPA (in no particular order).

Sniper

Snipers are hidden heroes on the front of chaos. They are deadly accurate from over a kilometer (or two) away which spawns super-human rumours; spreading cautious fear throughout the sects of the enemy. Highlighted today is a British Sniper who achieved marksman fame with – not one – but two kills at over 2.4 kms away.
