So if you remember when I last reported on this, Voltage was just preparing their assault on pirates. Well, that’s come and gone and 5,000 people got a letter. You can read the official complaint letter here.
Okay, so the letter basically says to destroy all copies of The Hurt Locker and to pay (presumably out their asses) for damages and legal fees. Though no amount was specified.
Seriously though, am I still the only person who thought this movie was terrible? I find it hilariously ironic that the company who is suing for copyright infringement allegedly stole the story from a soldier.
This isn’t Voltage Pictures last movie, but from the looks of things… The Hurt Locker was their last “hoorah”.
Coming to a theatre near you: “Born to Raise Hell.”
A hard core Interpol Agent is assigned to an Eastern European task force to target gun trafficking and dope running throughout the Balkans. While investigating a Russian gun dealer, his team is caught in a bloody street war between a Gypsy gang and the Russians, leaving one task force member dead. Fueled with vengeance, he leads us on an action packed thrill ride while avenging his friend’s death. Written by anonymous
hmmm… I think I’ve seen this movie about a million times in the 80′s. It needs either Van-Damme or Steven Seagal.
…wait, oh that’s right! Steven Seagal is the main lead.
Hope you collect a lot Voltage, because I doubt anyone would want to see a geriatric Seagal judo chop anyone to death.
